Call for projects from the Ile-de-France Region for the structuring of strategic Ile-de-France sectors and the development of technological platforms open to SMEs/ETIs, the AAP SESAME Sectors finances projects which must fall within the Areas of Major Interest (Domaines d’Intérêt Majeur – DIM) 2022-2026 selected by the Île-de-France Region, including in particular BioConvS.
The “SESAME Filières” action aims to strengthen the strategic sectors in the Ile-de-France region by allowing the use of means of production or shared infrastructures for research and development, tests or trials. It aims at giving a concrete contribution to the structuring needs of the areas of major interest (DIM research areas), in particular by promoting technology transfer and better coordination between academic and industrial players.
To do this, this call for projects supports the most scientifically and technologically ambitious projects, carried out primarily by higher education and research organizations and establishments in the region.
Projects funded through the SESAME Filière tend to connect academic establishments with the actors of an economic sector around a common project, with the aim of fostering prospects for innovation in the medium term, thus contributing in a concrete way to technological, scientific and economic development of the Region.
BioConvS partners have a successful history of projects funded through this action, notably in the last years the MEARY center and IVETh platform (both laureates of the 2021 edition), and recently the Biofoundry project was one of the three laureates of the 2022 edition.
For the year 2023, two applications periods are open:

- June 28th to Oct 27th 2023
