The DIM BioConvS opens its last call : a Microgrants program for supporting innovation!

This Microgrant program supports students, postdocs and researchers in the Île-de-France bioconvergence ecosystem who wish to explore the groundbreaking, translational or entrepreneurial potential of their research.

The microgrants aim at providing support to reach proof-of-concept, proof-of-application experiments or prototype validation as:

1.  Key Result needed for a go/no-go decision on a high-potential innovation project that may lead to a spin off

or

2. Key preliminary data needed for a major funding decision or grant application,

Awards of €5,000–€20,000 will be provided for selected projects as credit vouchers at the DIM BioConvS ecosystem platforms with priority to the Paris Biofoundry. The support from the Biofoundry (or, if well-argued, other platform within the BioConvS ecosystem – see our website for a non-exhausting list: https://bioconvs.org/platform/) does not involve any equity or IP sharing, and is designed to accelerate promising projects toward funding, maturation, startup creation, licensing, or industry partnership.

Academic labs interested in applying for these grants but are not yet members of BioConvS can do so by filling out the form provided at the link below. Labs with projects in the thematic areas of bioproduction or biotherapy are eligible to apply.

Applications will be accepted from October 5th until November 10th, 2026. Results of the selection process will be published no later than December 2026.
