Apply for a training funding

Eligibility

You can apply to get a BioConvS sponsorship for your training under the following eligibility criteria:

• You work in a lab affiliated to BioConvS (affiliation link)
• You seek technical training in a field or technique related to our thematics
• Your training is not already receiving funding from the Région Ile-de-France and you are not a DIM laureate (if you are, you already have access to funding for trainings through the additional costs envelope of your fellowship)
• You have to present the program of the training
• You can apply for a training grant of up to 1000€, but note that a smaller grant might be allocated at the discretion of the jury

Applications will be submitted to the vote of our Executive Committee who gathers on average once a month, so please plan in advance if you want to apply. You will be subsequently notified if your application was successful or not. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, until yearly funds are exhausted.

Obligations

If your event is approved and receives funding, you commit to the following points:

• Provide a written certificate of attendance to the training
• Your lab will advance the costs of the training and will be reimbursed upon presentation of the certificate of attendance and of the financial documents required
